The Management of Depression and Anxiety in Cancer course was authored by Dr. Madeline Li. This course consists of six online modules and offers 11.5 CME learning hours. It includes recommendations from the 2015 Pan-Canadian Practice Guidelines (http://www.capo.ca/). Using self-directed learning and interactive activities, the course provides an in-depth review of the bio-psycho-social etiology and pathophysiology of anxiety and depression in cancer; clinical pearls and video demonstrations on how to assess risk of immediate harm; clinical pathway based on distress severity; and psychosocial and pharmacological treatment options.
