The 2019 BPOS conference will be held on 28th February – 1st March 2019 at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Chester.

Theme: Innovations in Psychosocial Oncology: Research, Education & Practice

The conference will be hosted locally by Professor Nick Hulbert-Williams and colleagues from Chester Research Unit for the Psychology of Health (CRUPH), University Chester.

This is a joint meeting with NCRI Psychosocial Oncology & Survivorship, following successful joint meetings in previous years.

 

 

Abstract submission is now open.  DEADLINE 19th NOVEMBER – so you have good time to get your ideas down and onto our submission site!

Service innovation papers

We would also like to showcase excellent clinical, educational, integrational and good practice initiatives at the conference in the form of oral or poster presentations. Delegates wishing to present their work this way should submit an abstract of no more than 250 words describing their work (this does not need to be structured). The scientific committee will assess the merit of these abstracts separately from the main call for papers (described above). Abstract submissions along with title, full name and affiliation of authors should be sent to Sarah Dickinson (BPOS secretary) secretary@bpos.org by the Monday 19th November 2018 and presenters will know if they are successful by Friday 7th December 2018.
