NICE Guidance

The National Collaborating Centre for Acute Care (NCC-AC) was commissioned by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence to produce a guideline on the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. The Centre is based at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and its staff worked closely with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and patients on this project. The guideline was launched on the 22nd of February and has been very well received by the Department of Health, cancer research and charity organisations, health professionals and patients.
